Happy Birthday Card

I brought a crafter's inspiration magazine from Crafter's Companion  over six months ago and I was having a tidy and came across it so decided to have a look what was in the box. I took the magazine out and this card was one of the projects I really enjoyed making this card. This is one of three cards I have done three different occasions and colours . I have just matted each layer with tape on this card.

Here are the measurements for the card. Base card 8 x 8 Black Mat 7 1/2 x 7 1/2 Red mat 7 1/8 x 7 1/8
Next you need you mat for the middle White 7 1/8 x 7 1/8 this was the size of my mat which I have die cut my word HAPPY  This came with the magazine. Black mat 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 White mat for stamping 4 3/4 x 4 3/4. I have used the stencil that came with the magazine and blended Red ink to get my centre piece. The Birthday is also a stamp this magazine was a great buy.

I have raised the middle piece with foam pads so the Happy is away from the Red card.

Happy For You Card

Two Happy Anniversary Cards

Today I have made two anniversary cards both with the same stamp set and ink colours just slightly different. Card one Is A6 in black with a white mat slightly smaller to give a black edging . I have stamped my heart all the way down the left side in red and not a full heart I then stamped my sentiment and rings in black ink.

I used Visible Image Happy Anniversary stamp set and the Accessorise stamp set.

Card two I have just stamped the heart on both sides but more of a heart on the left than the right. I really enjoyed making these cards.

Stay safe

I would just like to say stay safe everyone only go out when you need to and please shop for what you need there is enough for everyone.

Please do not panic buy as this leaves people without and think of all those workers who are key workers we can't get to the shops till we finish work and this is late afternoon and there is hardly anything left.

Today was mother's day I took my mum flowers chocolates and a card I left it on the door step and knock walked away was so hard not to give her a hug but I didn't want to pass any germs I may have had on me. I wished her happy mother's day and blew a kiss and she was so happy it made both our day. I told her to stay safe.

Take care everyone a big virtual hug for you all from me stay safe we can ride this out lets hope if everyone does as they should this will soon be over.

Fun card

Fun set of stamps from Crafter's Companion you have many choices as you can see by the picture below I chose Glitter.

So quick to make a black A6 card with a slightly smaller glitter mat and the a black and white stitched mat the white to stamp the sentiment and mat on to the black mat and place on to the card.

So sorry card

A very quick and easy card I found this stamp set in my collection I have had it years never been used I used my daubers to ink my flowers so I have green leaves and pretty red flowers with a little black gem in the middle. I stamped this onto a piece of white card and then matted it onto a dotty green paper and then on to a red A6 card. 

Perfect pearl Butterfly

Here I have taken a Grey A6 base card then a slightly smaller black mat to this time a bit more tricky I placed a Butterfly metal stencil onto my card and then used my medium ink pad and went all over the gaps needing to be covered in the perfect pearl. You can see you need to keep the stencil steady as any movement will smudge the image. You also need to set it spraying water into the air and waving the card though does this at least 3 times.

I took my sentiment from the Tim Holtz Tiny Sentiments I think Find You Wings goes well with this card.

Perfect Pearl Paris scene

Another stamping and Perfect pearl card I used a stamp I have had for many years and it was sat in a draw but makes a lovely card with the perfect pearls . This is an A6 base card red with a slightly smaller black mat for my stamping.

I will put a link for some Perfect pearls metallic as I used copper and gold here.

Now to play with some perfect pearls . I took and A6 base card in black as I wanted the colours to pop. I then took a smaller piece of black card and embossed it using a spider web  folder I will put a link to one but it's not the same as mine as I have had mine for many years.

Once embossed I used my perfect pearls to colour I just got a brush and took some on to the brush then placed one the web I did this with a few colours and then when finished I got a bigger brush and brushed it all down wards to remain the excess to set I used a mister bottle you spray into the air and wave the card through I did this 3 times. 

For my sentiment I used Tim Holtz Tiny Text stamp set loving this set there are some may choices .

There are many choices for the Perfect Pearls and I brought several packets like the one in the link below as you get the brushes pearls and the medium ink pad that you need.

Happy Birthday Card

A very quick and easy card for the gents I think. I have done a 4 x 4 card in Grey I then took a piece slightly smaller in Tim Holtz Idea-ology Metallic Jewels Kraft stock love this paper pack so many lovely colours.

I have then used the Tim Holtz 3-D Texture Fades embossing folder this one is called Mechanics I then used my Daisy Ditsy and Dotty stamp set for the Happy Birthday I stamped them in black onto white card and cut out leaving a white outline.

Good Cluck card

Here is some of my own backing card I used a hexagon stencil and some Tim Holtz distressed oxide ink pads .

This is a cute little 4 x 4 card with my own backing card  cut slightly smaller then I have die cut a stitched circle in black and one in white where I have stamped my image this image is from the Tim Holtz Funny Farm stamp set. I then coloured my image with Spectrum Noir Illustrator pens. 

Timepiece Easel cards

I brought this easel card die I used some holographic card on the black it really pops and would work well as a card for the men  and for my pink card it's a more feminine look so one for the ladies.

Large Box Tutorial

This is a box I made years ago but is proving to be very popular so I thought I would pop it here for those who haven't seen it. It's a lovely size . I have made another with a matching card and will posting later this week.

Especially For You Card

Today a 5 x 5 card with a mat stamped with versa mark and then covered with white embossing powder and heated then I got a blending tool and rubbed a pink and blue mix over . I then stamped a sentiment in black and die cut with stitched edge die and placed on foam pads so it's raised in the middle of the card.
