Happy Birthday Card

Here I have taken a 6 x 6 white base card then a gingham layer 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 then a piece of hexagon patterned paper 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and I have stamped a bee in each corner and then a Happy Birthday Sentiment right in the middle. I used Black ink.

This was a very quick and easy card to make.  

There Is Beauty In Simplicity

 I have had my alcohol inks for years and thought I would get them out and have a play.

I took a piece of Yupo card and got my Alcohol inks and dropped a few drops then I added some metallic colours and it just went like this and I thought I like this so I just left it and found a sentiment to place onto it and I mounted it on to a black base card.

I love the different effects you can get from playing with alcohol inks and I will be getting them out again to play some more to see what happens.

Squirrel! Oh Nuts, I Missed Your Birthday

I did this card a few weeks back different sentiment and ordinary blend pens so I thought I would try this again using my Tri Blend Pens as like they say practise makes perfect and I will get there.

I love this card so cute and great just in case you forget someones birthday.

Always Thinking Of You

I liked this sentiment and as I said in my post last week with the flower using this sentiment. It's great for a time like now where we are not able to visit loved ones and family but want to let them know we are thinking of them.

So a card like this would be lovely to send with a little note inside to cheer them up.

Again I am using my Tri Blend Pens slowly getting there still a long way to go but I am happy with my results so far and I can only get better well I hope so.

Crazy Dog

Just love Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs I have coloured a few but not this chap so today was his turn to be inked and stamped. I then set about him with my Tri Blend pens Like I have said before I am learning to use my new pens and get used to blending and getting the effects needed.

I didn't add a sentiment as I could decided what to use him for maybe a male Happy Birthday card.

Always Thinking Of You

Trying out my Tri blend pens again I stamped my flower and then began to colour good thing about the Tri blend pens is that I only had to use 2 pens to colour this flower and the leaf as each pen has a light medium and dark.

I just love the sentiment and thought this would be a great card to send someone at the moment to cheer them up and let them know you are thinking about them.

Robin Diamond Painting

All done just needs a frame now and came be put up on the wall.

I just love Robins and diamond paintings I find them very therapeutic to do. I just do an hour each evening. Now to start another. 

Dots and Diamond cards

A friend got me on to these Dots and Diamond cards you get a pad of different cards and lots of diamonds so I started with my favourites I have done this one with pearls.

Then I did another with clear gems and the sentiment is lovely.

Lastly I made this card lots of pearls.

Colouring Time

Time for some colouring I invested in some Spectrum Noir Tri Blend pens and I must say I have enjoyed colouring this lady she's on an A4 page so she's not little.

I know I have a long way to go but I am happy with the way I have blended my colours here and I will be doing a lot more colouring as I find it very theraputic.

Four Seasons Diamond painting

In between making card I did a little diamond painting each evening while we had the news on I would do a little of this and it's taken me around 3 weeks to do so not to bad.

It Is 40cm x 50cm so not small I have really enjoy doing this and have started another smaller this time and totally different.

All I need now is a nice frame so I can hang it on the wall.

Poppy Card

I got a new stencil and I must say I love it this was the first card I made with it I just used an base black card and a white mat to do my stencilling .

I took my first stencil and my green ink and dauber and did the leaves I then took the second stencil some red ink and dauber .

I really liked this card but thought something was missing so I did another.

For my second card I added an extra mat of green card and I think I like this one better as the border Is broken up now.
