Butterfly's and Moths Cards

I have been wanting to get this Tim Holtz Stamp Papillion for ages and finally I have it.

Nice A5 size card in black then a core dination card in brown and sanded to give a distressed effect I then took a biscuit colour card and stamped my background with Antique Linen oxide and Black soot Oxide for the Butterfly's and Moths. I am really pleased how this turned out.

Small A6 card this time and a manilla tag stamped background in Antique Linen again and black soot oxide for the Butterfly's and Moths I placed the tag at an angle I think it looked better this way rather than straight.

Happy Halloween Cards

Oh a bit early I here you say but I came across this stamp and die set by Tim Holtz and just had to have it.

A6 base card in black and a white mat then I took a piece of black card and embossed with my spider web folder then I rubbed Seedless preserves oxide over it so I got a purple effect on my web. I then stamped my spider web and sentiment in black and then heat embossed it's very glossy in the flesh the picture doesn't show this.

For this card I have used core dination card in grey and sanded the web I love the effect it has given the web. Once again my web with spider is black and glossy.

Mr and Mrs Card

After using these dies yesterday I thought I would use them again only this time I have used the lovely non shed rainbow card.

I have also made this one bigger this is a 6 x 6 black card matted with a lovely pearlescent mat and then die cuts are done in Rainbow card I placed my rainbow card on adhesive sheets so they could be peeled and placed straight onto the card no sticky glue.

Mr and Mrs Card

Well have these new dies that came with my advent box dies so thought I would have a play.
Just a small A6 card pearlescent and the blue and pink is also Pearlescent so a bit of luxury for this card.

I finished it of with some little hearts in each corner.

My beautiful cup

Here is my beautiful cup sent to me by my daughter Gemma and family.

Rainbow as I am a key worker and post woman this is very much like me though I do not have big eye lashes.

Rainbow Butterfly Card

A very quick and simple card all you need is a base card A6 black base card and then a piece of rainbow card and a die of a butterfly I also used double sided adhesive sheet on the rainbow card so once die cut all I had to do was peel the backing of and place onto the card.

I have left it sentiment free but you could add any little sentiment to this.

My beautiful Orchid Flower

Not craft related today but a proud moment.

My beautiful Orchid flower it's just so beautiful I felt I should share it.

I have had Orchid plants before and thought once the flowers had died and fell off that was it and I threw it away. Oh no I hear you say I didn't know if you just left them they would flower again.

Well this time I left it and then a little bud appeared and got bigger and bigger and then here we are a beautiful flower and my favourite colour Pink. There are more bud so fingers x I get some more beautiful flowers. 

Happy Birthday Card

Some lovely poppies I have used a die to make these poppies and it's a great way to use up the small scraps of card you have lying around.

I put foam pads behind the heads to give the card a bit of dimension I also raised the sentiment.

Were All Mad Here Card

I got this lovely stencil from Visible image and thought I would use my oxides to blend through the stencil.

Colours I used are three of my favourites Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers and  Twisted Citron I am pleased with the results I have got.

Happy Birthday Card

I saw this technique and thought I need to have a go and It was a good time to use my make up brushes to do the blending. I have a base A6 black card with a white mat slightly smaller.

I took my white piece of card blended my Squeezed Lemonade in the middle then Twisted Citron on the left and Spiced Marmalade on the right all these are Tim Holtz Oxide ink pads. once done I placed a stencil over the top and blended the ink over the top this gives the pattern of the Criss cross. I then die cut the Happy Birthday and adhered this with glue.

Have a Mice Day Cards

So Cute

So so cute I just had to buy this stamp and die set this is my first card and I have just stamped my image and coloured with my tri blend pens.

My second card I have changed the colours I used for my base card and I also changed my colours  when colouring with my tri blends . I also used the dies I decided to die cut the whole image out but the die set allows you to cut just one side off and have the image in the edge of the card be it Left Right or Middle or fully like I have done. I also place a sentiment on this card Have A Mice Day.

Mixed Media Note book

This was a basic brown hard back note book and I decided to have a go at changing it to a mixed media note book.

I embossed some card and die cut some keys and locks then painted it all black and then rubbed some silver gilding wax over it.

I must say I am pleased how this has turned out and when showing my husband Gary he said I'll have this for my birthday as he really loves it.

Think I will try something else in mixed media.

Zany Zebra Cards

The cute Zany Zebra'a again I just love this stamp set. My first card is Wild about You and my second one is Kick Up Your Heels .

These cards were so quick and easy to do.

Know That You Are Loved

Baby Sunflowers I was going to stamp these all done the left hand side but decided not to I put the sentiment in between and again I used my Tri blend pens and I am pleased with my results what do you think?

Merry Christmas cards

Well time to make a few Christmas cards and get the foil machine out these pictures don't do the cards justice If I am honest they are so beautiful for real. I made these card 8 x 8 so they are a really nice size too.

Card Two  Just a change of colour card and foil.

Card Three some red and grey.

Time to make an advent calendar

Just the start box 1 and 2 just another 22 to go I am busy making an advent calendar for the Hubby and I. This is the front.

This is a new die I brought one sheet of A4 card put though a A4 die cutter and then a simple fold on the score line I didn't even need to use a bone folder and you only need too glue in 2 places great little box. I also brought the numbers and unlike other sets you get 2 number 1 and 2 great.

I will share more with you once I get some more time to do some more but with working full time crafting is now and again.

This is the side of my box I have put a Reindeer on each side you get these with the box die you also get the layers I used to put my numbers on and you get some square and scalloped circles and snowflakes dies too.  

Cute Zebra Happy Birthday Cards

Card One:
I love this little Zebra it's so cute I stamped the zebra and greeting in Black and matted up  just a simple monochrome card.

Card Two:

This is pink for the girls I have stamped in pink ink and used a pink card and some pink patterned paper

Card Three:

Lastly one for the boy Blue a change of ink and card in Blue and some Blue gingham paper.
