Butterfly card 2

Card number two

Base card A6 in lilac and a slightly smaller white mat to stamp my Butterfly on with my Black Spectrum Noir water proof ink pad. http://tidd.ly/f0cef158

This time I decided to use a Spectrum Noir tri blend pen   http://tidd.ly/7c3e8af8

I then coloured each section with my different shades and blended the colours and I am happy how this card turned out.

I have provided links to what I have used yes they are affiliate links but will cost nothing to click and take a look.

Butterfly card 1

A very quick and simple card Black base card A6 in size with a white mat slightly smaller just enough to show a black edge.

I have then stamped my Butterfly in Black and leave it at that to give me what they call the monochrome effect.

Simple but elegant.

All supplies where in my craft stash.

Funky Cat

I just love this cat and I thought I would colour it in bright colours to make it a funky cat.

My base card is Black A6 and a white mat measuring 5 1/2 x 3 3/4 which I stamped my cat on with my Gina K Amalgam ink pad and then I coloured with blend pens. The cat is from the Dylusions set called Cat Among the Pigeons. So a very quick and easy card to make.

I could not think of a sentiment for this card any suggestions? Leave me any idea's you have.

Foiled Christmas card

To make this card I took a black base card A6 in size I then cut a piece of red glitter card slightly smaller then I had my tree on gold card left from another project I decided to cut this down and it looked a bit bland so I added some pearls to look like baubles and I am happy with this.

I also had the sentiment this is from when I was playing with my foil press I really am enjoying my foil press and will do a You Tube showing the Foil Press really soon.

The card and pearls are from my stash.

Blue Print Christmas Cards

For these two cards I used a base card A6 with mat to stamp and colour my images.

Card one:

I took a base A6 card in Black I then took a piece of water colour paper for my mat. I then got some Aqua pens and a water brush I used my Kingfisher and Yellow Aqua pen mixed them together with my water pen to make a green and then swiped my flat brush  across the water colour mat to get my background.

I then took my water colour Finesse Spectrum noir ink pad to stamp my tree and then again used and my greeting and then coloured my baubles with my water colour pens too. I love this a effect.

Card Two:

Change of colour for my base card this time I have used a deep red and a white piece of card for my mat. I used my black ink pad again to stamp my image and sentiment. To colour I have used blend pens .

I used card from my stash and my aqua pens are from a kit my stamp sets are Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprint my sentiment is from a retired Stampin' Up! Sassy Salutations.

Cute Snowman

To make your own Snow person here is the You Tube link https://youtu.be/qLlu0lkNlgU

I made this snowman and posted it on my Facebook page Shell's craft corner and a few other pages I am a member of and he was so popular I thought I would share him on my blog.

To make him you will need to make 3 boxes

Large box

Piece of card 8 x 8 score at 2 all four sides. For the lid piece of card 6 x 6 score at one all four sides when scoring move 1/8 in so the lid fits nicely.

Middle box

Piece of card 7 x 7 score at 2 all the four sides. For the lid piece of card 5 x 5 score at one all four sides four sides when scoring move 1/8 in so the lid fits nicely. .

Small box

Piece of card 6 x 6 score at 2 all four sides. For the lid 4 x 4 score at one all four sides when scoring move 1/8 in so the lid fits nicely.

You will need to score and burnish all boxes and cut up each end to turn and glue inside to make the box.

To make his hat I used a piece of card 4 3/4 x 1 1/2 and used a bone folder to curve this I then punched a 1 3/4 circle for the base and a 1 1/2 circle for the top.

I used some pieces of glittery ribbon and gems to finish him off and a piece of like burlap for his scarf.
