Mini Album - Shell's Craft Corner

As promised here are the details you will need all 3 spines and for each spine you will need two piece so 6 in total and for the decorative patterned pieces you will need four for each piece so twelve in total.

So pictures of my albums I made for my Husband.

Had fun making these cute mini albums and I am sure I will make more as they could be little memory books for special occasions.

Happy Birthday Card

This is another card I made using my new Wonky stitch dies I used monochrome layers but added a bit of colour making the base card green.

These cards are very quick and easy to make but look good.

To make the card using just the trimmer here are the sizes you need

Base card 6 x 6 

Mat one 5 3/4 x 5 3/4

Mat two 5 1/2 x 5 1/2

Mat three 5 x 5 

Mat four 4 3/4 x 4 3/4

Mat five 4 1/2 x 4 1/2

Top mat for stamping is 4 1/4 4 1/4

Black and Silver die card.

 Now for some glitter card. I have used a Black base card and some glitter card you can't really see it here but it's very pretty for real. I have also done something slightly different with this card the other two I blogged on Wednesday I just glued down and just raised the centre piece but with this one I have raised the full panel with some foam strips and then the next piece I have used foam pads on is the silver centre piece and then the top centre piece.

Just used a die set to make these two cards

 I am just loving my new John Next Door dies They are the Addition Die set Oundle set of 5 this is the link if you would like to go have a look https://tidd.ly/35GrMuE There are other sets that work with this and I am now looking at the others as these are lovely.

This is the first I made with card stock and below is another made just by switching the colours around. 

I will making some more so please keep having a looking to see what else we can do with this set.

Cute Dragon Gift Box - Shell's Craft Corner

I just love the cute dragon and making this box was such fun it's a lovely box when finished will make a great gift box.

You will need 2 pieces of A4 double sided Centura Pearl fresh white card stock you will need to cut them to 8 1/4 x 8 1/4 and score at 1 3/8 on all four sides for the second piece you need bring it in slightly so you get a snug fit. You could also use a circle punch to make a half moon on two sides making it easier to lift the lid off.

I die cut my Merry Christmas from The Red Glitter card from the Craft Artist Warm Tones and my Blue Merry Christmas was from the Craft Artist Cool Tone.

The top mat to sit on the box is 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 and a  piece 4 7/8 x 4 7/8 for embossing and I  used Distress oxide Peacock Feathers to colour this. The die I used for for my Dragon to be stamped on was roughly 2 3/4 x 2 3/4.

Tri Blend pens I used to colour my Dragon are Alpine Green Blend (light), Dark Red blend (Light) and Jade green ( Light)

Merry Christmas Card

 I just love this cute Dragon stamp from the Crafters Companion Crafters Inspiration  magazine. This was one of the cards in the magazine well my take on it.

I took a piece of A4 card and on the long side scored at 5 7/8 then cut to 5 3/4 to make my card.

I have a Black mat 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 with a Red mat 5 x 5 and then my white piece 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 to emboss and once embossed take the tri blend pen Blue Turquoise and make a line all the way round to make a boarder. 

Next another Black mat 4 x 4 then Red mat 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 then my white piece 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 to stamp my Dragon onto and again a blue boarder.

For the sentiment I die cut the Merry Christmas in Red and then I took a piece of Red card cut it to  1 1/8  x 4 5/8 and a white mat 1 x 4 1/2 and place my Merry Christmas onto this using glue.

I coloured my Dragon with Tri blend pens 

Blue Turquoise , Light Green, Dark Red, Ice Grey Shades and Burnt Orange blend.

I will be making more card with this cutie. Oh and don't forget my video this Sunday is the lovely little box using this Dragon stamp and Merry Christmas die.

 Love these big sentiment stamps from Crafters Companion.

I have used a 6 x 6 base card in white then I matted it with a lovely piece of Christmas patterned paper, I then took a black piece of card  and then a white piece of card stamped my sentiment in black ink and die cut it with a stitched edge and a hole die I then put them together and then placed them on foam pads and then placed onto the card.

I have the Gemini and Gemini Junior but they can't except my steel rule die so I saw this on offer at Create and Craft and just had to snap it up. My shoulder doesn't like all that turning so this will help me heaps. I will have to find some time to show you how to make the cute little mini album.
