Merry Christmas - Shell's Craft Corner

I would just like to wish you all Merry Christmas and all the best for 2021 lets hope it's better year for us all. I would also like to thank you all for following me on You Tube and my blog and I hope you will continue to do so In 2021.

I have set myself a task for 2021 not to buy any more craft products and to use what I have and I have so many craft products unused and I will be doing give away's for these as there is nothing wrong with them I'm just not going to use them.

With Love Card

 

There out again Wonky stitch dies a very quick and effect card to make with some simple die cutting and layering. I used pink and purples so this would be suitable for the ladies.

Happy Birthday Card

Here is another card I have made using my Wonky Stitch dies I wanted a card for a male so this was a very quick and easy card to make I used black and grey tones as this is very suitable for a male.
 

With Love On Your Special Day Card

 This card is well out of my comfort zone I don't use flowers and pearls on my card apart from the rare occasion.

This card is made with Products from a Crafters Companion box kit it had everything to make to card apart from the ink I used and the adhesive.

The kit for these items was number 20 Layering stencils.

I picked a base card then 2 purple layers of card then a piece of white card which I then used 3 different stencils and 3 ink colours to create my background. I then took another piece of white card and stamped my sentiment. I then added pearls to two of the corners and flowers on the other I used my ink on a dauber to add some pink to the petal edges of my flowers. I also daub round the edge of the piece of card my sentiment is on.

I am really pleased with how this card turned out.

Using Up Your 6 x 6 Papers - Shell's Craft Corner

Great way to use up all those 6 x 6 papers I have loads and yes they are great for matting and layering but I found these two ways to make cards using the 6 x 6 papers.

My first card:

 You will need 2 6 x 6 cards and a piece of 6 x 6 double sided patterned paper and a piece of white card.

White  pieces need to be 5 1/4 a 1 1/4 you will need 6 pieces then you need 6 pieces of patterned paper measuring 5 x 1 your sentiment piece will be White 3 1/4 x 1 1/4  patterned piece 3 x 1  piece to stamp sentiment on will be 2 3/4 x 3/4.

Second card:

 Base 6 x 6 white mat is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 your patterned piece will be 5 x 5 these need to be cut diagonally to make your triangle pieces which you will mat onto your white triangle pieces. Your sentiment piece will be white 1 1/4  x 3 1/4 patterned piece 1 x 5 and white piece to stamp on will be 4 3/4 x 3/4. 

Hope you will now get using up all those 6 x 6 papers

It's amazing what you can do with some waste from one card keep it and use it to make another we are all for using everything possible.

Work Is so busy

 Hi there people sorry I haven't blogged this week but work is busy at the moment you are all ordering your Christmas presents and sending them and we have to deliver them. There has also been Black Friday and Cyber Monday so many deals everyone likes a bargain.

I miss my craft time I am so glad I got a few You Tubes done while I was off in November but think I only have one or two left I would like to be able to get some done and be here the rest of the year but we will see.
