I really enjoyed making this Jolly Jointed Mouse. It Is a svg file from Dreaming Tree. I have not crafted in ages but this little guy had me wanting to craft.

Life Is Beautiful

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is to use punches or dies. I took a base card in purple A6 in size and I then used two different sized stitched edge dies my first in pink and the second in lilac. I then took some colour coordinating card and stamped my daisy's in black I then took a piece of white card and stamped Life Is Beautiful in versa mark and covered with black embossing powder and heated till glossy. I then trimmed these to size and punched out my daisy's. I then started to put my card together I taped my layers to the card. I then placed my small daisy's onto a foam pad and placed them onto the large daisy and to finish it of I added a clear gem in the middle. I also put a foam pad on these then placed onto my card and i placed foam pads on the back of my words.

Brrr! it's cold outside

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is Christmas In July  So to start my card I took a 6 x 6 black base card then a piece of white card 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 I then took my Snowman Jack stamp and sentiment stamps by  Visible Image I stamped using black ink and then coloured my snowman with my Spectrum Noir Tri-blend pens.

 Colours used are Ice grey blend, Dark Red shades, True blue blend and Earth brown blend.

For You

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is Get Inky and this time it was my turn to set the theme of the card. So to start my card I took a 6 x 6 black base card then a piece of white card 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 I then took my  Daisy Daisy stencil by Visible Image and some ink pads and daubers . I rubbed my dauber in a colour and the rubbed it on a section and repeated this all round until no white left, now lift the stencil away. I then stamped a sentiment  and raised this on a foam pad to add a little dimension to the middle of my card.

Best Day Ever Card

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is circles and purples So I thought stencil daubers and some inks . 

I took a base card black 6 x 6 in lilac and then a mat a little smaller in a darker  purple and then a piece of white card slightly smaller again. With my white piece of card I placed my stencil down and taped the sided with low tack tape to keep it in place while I used my daubers to colour. I took 3 different colour purple inks and just tried to randomly colour, though get an even amount of each colour all over the card think I did ok. Finally I put my sentiment in the top left corner.

For you card

I just love stencils and butterflies I took a 6 x 6 base card then a lilac mat slightly smaller 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 and then a piece of white 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 I used my full butterfly stencil in a light pink and then I took my detail stencil and a darker pink. To finish the card of I inked the edges and then I found these white flowers so rubbed the ink over to add some colour. I stamped my sentiment die cut and placed on foam pads.

Seas the day challenge card

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is Summer Fun (Beach,Shell's,Water ect) . I wasn't sure what I could do for this one and had to have a rummage through my stash and I found a stamp set which was free with Simply cards and papercrafts issue 207.

I took a base card black 6 x 6 and then a piece of lovely blue glitter card then a piece of white  card and stamped my images I started with the shell's and then the starfish on the starfish I decided to add a small gem in the middle. Finally I put my sentiment in the middle

For you

I was in a card swap and this is the card I made and sent to my swap partner. I am pleased to say she liked it.

I took a 6 x 6 base card in black and then a gingham mat slightly smaller and then a smaller lilac mat and finally a white piece of card for my stamping.

I used two stencils for this a solid butterfly which I did in a light pink and then the detail stencil I used a darker pink. For the sentiment I used Heffy doodle stamp set and matching dies I used a white piece of card white I coloured with my inks so they matched. I raised these to give a bit of detail and finally I used some pearls in the top left and bottom right corner.

I downloaded and printed of some papers and sentiments.

This is the first card I made.

Very quick and easy 5 x 5 then I have printed the pages I wanted and then fussy cut the leaves and two centerpieces. 

I placed my background paper onto the card and then the first piece the sentiment piece onto the card and the middle piece with the actual sentiment on I placed foam pads onto to raise it and placed my leaves underneath.

I followed the instruction in the magazine.

Nice little card and very quick to make.

Butterfly

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is Things with wings. I just love Butterfly's.

I took a base card black 6 x 6 and then a piece of white water colour card 5 3/4 x 5 3/4. I then took a paint brush and dipped into water and painted my piece of card next I took my spectrum noir glitter inks. Perfect Pastels Moonstone, Cosmos and Rose Quartz. I did strip's of each colour and then dried with my heat gun. Next it was time to ink up my stamp Butterfly Collage by Woodware. I used a waterproof ink. Lastly I used my Tim Holtz Distress Glaze so it has a nice sparkle and a wax look.

Baby Card

Scan N Cut again and yes another free svg file from Dreaming Tree they really do spoil you with the free svg files and they have some lovely svg files to purchase and they are a great price too.

I also like the fact that you can follow Leo on Youtube to put the projects together If you want to.

Yet again all supplies I have used from my stash. I will be making this card again. I also made the matching envelope.

I think this is a great new baby card.

Something new A stepper card I got a free template from craftworld and I followed the video instructions.

Tulip card and matching envelope

Right time to try something a little harder few more layers and lots of pieces to put together.

I also made the matching envelope and yes another file from Dreaming Tree. This one was purchased as a set of three projects this is one I have made there is also a wishing well card and a windmill. The windmill looks great but there are lots of pieces so I will leave that till I get a bit more confident.

I forgot to say that Dreaming tree also do assembly videos on Youtube so you can follow Leo while he put the project together. This has been a great help to me and I would advise anyone trying svg files out to try Dreaming Tree. They also have a lovely Facebook page where you can share your makes with others.

Dog paw card and matching envelope

So today we have another free svg from Dreaming tree they have lots of free svg files I am using them to make a few projects and then I will move on to other things. I have seen a few svg files I would like to buy and will when I have got the hang of it all.

This time I have made a card which would be great for a dog lover you also get the file to make the matching envelope.

Gift Wallets

I have been using my Scan N Cut after it sitting doing nothing for nearly 5 years I had used it on the odd occasion but now I have fell in love with it and after making a few projects I upgraded to a new Scan N Cut I can see me playing with this a lot I have so many things I want to try so What this space.

These are great for when you don't know what to get someone for their birthday or any occasion as it is a gift wallet.

I used a free svg file from Dreaming Tree to make these . They are so easy to make and they hold gift cards and money. 

I used one sheet of 12 x 12 black card and another 12 x 12 in patterned paper.

I placed some gems on the corners and the clasp at the front for a bit of luxury.

To keep closed I used some velcro dots.

For The New Two

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is New Beginnings so I chose newly weds.

I took a white 6 x 6 card. I then took a piece of patterned paper and cut it to 5 3/4 x 5 3/4  and then a piece of white card 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and stamped my sentiment in the middle then stamped the flower image in all four corners in black, I then decided to colour my flowers so I got my Spectrum Noir blend pens.The colours I used were Magenta blends , Pale pink shades and Citrus green blend. I also got a dauber and some pink ink and rubbed the edges on my centre white piece.

Special Day

The challenge this time is a Mother's day card usa or Special day.

I used a black 6 x 6  base card.  I Then took a piece of patterned paper from my stash and cut down to 5 3/4  x 5 3/4  I then took a piece of white card 5 1/2 x 5/ 1/2 and stamped my images and sentiment these stamps are from my stash of many. I then thought it would be nice to add a little gem in the centre of my flowers.

Gnome DL Card

 

So this is my entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time is a DL card.

I found a purple base card in my stash. I was sent this cute gnome die from my friend  Patsy in the US and I just love it . I cut a few Gnomes put them together using my sheets of Wacky Tack I have had these sheets for years it's amazing what you find in your stash If you have a good look. I then placed them on to my card using foam pads and to finish them off I added a little jewel on their cap. This was a great way of using up scrap pieces of card and paper too.

Let's Have Coffee

Let's have coffee this card if my challenge entry on the Cardz 4 Galz page I am currently a guest dt member and I must I am enjoying my time as a Guest dt member.

The challenge this time was Tea and or Coffee.

I found a gold base card in my stash 6 x 6 I then printed out some free images as I didn't have any stamps to make this card. I then used my Scan N Cut to cut them out I have then placed some foam pads on the back of my images and sentiment to life them from the card to give a bit of dimension.

Feeling Under The Weather Card

I have taken a 5 x 5 base white card and a free download piece of rain background paper . Next I die cut some of these cut umbrella a free gift on a magazine I got last year. The sentiment is from the same magazine. I stamped this in black ink and then die cut and oval scallop in Blue to then place my sentiment oval on top using foam pads I also put foam pads behind my umbrellas to raise them from the card also.

Umbrella Man Card

I just love the Tim Holtz Umbrella man I used him earlier this month and as I die cut two this one was sitting waiting to be used.

So I took a base black 6 x 6 card and then a piece of white card and a new round dotty stencil I have and again daubers out and rubbed over my stencil using my Distress oxide ink Salty Ocean I have then placed the Umbrella man on foam pads so he is raised from the background.

Happy Mother's Day Card

A very simple but effective Mother's day card. I have taken the Lisa Horton 3d Sunflower embossing folder and embossed the beautiful Sunflowers. I used a piece of white card stock  then took a dauber and my Distress oxide ink pad Wild Honey and rubbed all over my Sunflower and rubbed extra in the middles of the Sunflower. I then used a sentiment from my stash and stuck with wild Honey on white and matted on to a black piece of card stock as I used a black 6 x 6 card base. To finish of the card I added a little gem either end of my sentiment.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

I really enjoyed making this card I took a 6 x 6 black base card. I printed an Ombre piece of paper to cut and mat onto my card.

I then took some ombre glitter card and die cut my brolley pieces raindrops and flowers and my sentiment scalloped background. I then took my black card and die cut my brolley top layers and some scrap white card to stamp my sentiments and layer on top of my glitter scalloped mats.

I have raised my brollies, sentiments, teardrops and Flowers on foam pads and then placed onto my card I think this is a very colourful card.

Spring rain challenge card

This is my card for the spring rain challenge card for Cardz 4 Galz I am currently a guest DT member and this is my take on this challenge . You had to have Umbrellas, Rain, boots.

So I sat and thought I have just the die my Tim Holtz Umbrella man . I then downloaded a free piece of paper for my rain back ground so It was a very quick and easy card for me to do.

You Deserve A Treat Card

A bit of downloading of a free print and the use of the Scan N Cut I printed out my dotty background and then my lovely big cup cake and sentiment.

I then used my Scan N Cut to cut out my lovely cupcake now this looks so nice I could eat it.

I have taken a A6 card then cut my dotty background to mat on to my card  then place my die cut cup cake on foam pads to raise slightly from the background.

Lastly I thought the sentiment would go nice on the cake wrapper.

Everything Is Better with Coffee

A quick and easy card printed of a couple of free downloads. Then took a base 6 x 6 card and then matted my first print of cakes with gingham edge. I then took the large sentiment and fancy cut it out and placed foam pads behind to raise it slightly.

I think everyone says everything is better with coffee but not me I am a tea drinker.

Sparkle medium cards

Here we are again with the sparkle medium but this time I have made cards to do this you need to use your stencil on acetate then adhere to the card.

This time I have used a white card and then framed my stencilled acetate butterfly's with a black edging.

Sparkle Medium and stencils make a lovely gift

A blast from the past I remember making these years ago. I still have the stencils and my sparkle    mediums maybe It's time I got them out again as these are so easy to do and they make and make a lovely present.  

This is my Peacock stencil.

 This time I have changed the colours of both the frame and colours of sparkle medium and I decided     on  a Owl stencil this time.

Album

I made this album following avery detailed video tutorial by Joe Coogan there are a lot of pieces but it is well worth the time and effort and I am pleased I have made this and I am really happy how it turned out.

 This is inside the album you can pull out the white tabs to journal or place pictures.

Cute Dragon cards 3 and 4

Card three and I think I am starting to get there with the shading I forgot to say with the last two cards on Monday that the sentiments that come with these stamps are lovely and you could mix them with all Dragons.

 

Card four and I am happy with how this card has turned out. Think this is the best of the four.

Happy Mother's Day Gift Card

This project below is for the Mother's day UK or Special Lady Challenge for the Cardz 4 Galz  challenge

Here I have made this card come gift for Mother's day I have used the lovely Centura Pearl to make this look like a luxury gift. I have then matted some black card and then a pretty sheet of daisy patterned paper and then die cut a stitched edge oval in black and taped this down and then a smaller stitched edge oval in pink and stamped Happy Mother Day in Pink ink and placed foam pads onto the back to add a little dimension.  

 Now for when you open WOW chocolate what Mum doesn't like chocolate nice pink card inside and a pale pink centura pearl box bottom to place our two 100g chocolate bars. Close this and tie the bow with the lovely pale pink ribbon. I can't take all the credit for this as I followed a video by Sara from Crafters Companion this was brought with the A3 score board there are more projects I will be trying so keep a look out.

Cute Dragon card 1 and 2

I bought the set of six Lee Holland stamps and have used then a few times but today I decided to use them with my aqua pens. I can see the shading but I want to be better but I am happy with the result.

 Card number to still not happy with the shading down the spine but I am really happy with the rest I am getting there.

Posy Box

Here I am again with my Paper Pantry cutting file volume II usb. This Is what I found the most time consuming you have to cut all your piece first and then you can put It altogether but again all instructions are on the usb. I have really loved making the projects and there are so many different boxes you can make. I haven't used any of the papers or made any of the cards but I am sure I will. This usb gave me the confidence to use my Scan and Cut after five years yes I said five years. I had used It on the odd occasion. 

This is the box in one piece.

 

         Here Is the box taken apart great box love It.again you could place a gift inside.

Fox Hexagonal box

Here we have the hexagonal box again but this time I have cut the box out and then also cut out the fox pieces and placed them onto the box.

Takes a little longer and you have choices Fox, Rabbit, Owl think there maybe one or two more to choose from.

I really enjoyed making this box.

Picnic Basket

Yes Scan and Cut again I am really enjoying using it and it's all been since I brought the     Paper Pantry cutting files usb volume II. You will see other projects later so feel free to keep popping by and see what's next.

 Today It Is the cute picnic basket again I have used double sided card so It's pretty inside as well as outside.
